Further Maths
Further Mathematics consists of Core Pure which explores topics like vectors and algebra that have been touched on at GCSE but takes
these much further. Students who took the level 2 certificate in Further Maths will recognise the topic of matrices which is extended well beyond content covered previously.
Why study this course
- You are currently working at a Band 7-9 at GCSE and you would enjoy to study the most challenging A Level available
- You want to be challenged and stretched by studying more difficult topics than those found at A Level Mathematics
- You are planning to study either Mathematics or a related degree at University

In addition we offer small class sizes ensuring that all our Further Mathematicians get the 1-1/small group support that really enables them to make the progress required to succeed. This allows a more informal approach to study that allows the teacher to tailor-make the learning and resources to match the needs of the individual students.
